Martha Diaz

Degrees and Certifications:

Martha Diaz

Hello wonderful families.

I am Martha Diaz, the Family Specialist at both Driscoll and Harris Middle Schools. I have been a Family Specialist with NEISD since 2008.  I secured a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and a Masters degree in Education from UTSA. Prior to becoming a Family Specialist, I had a successful business as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor providing vocational and educational counseling for 16 years in Southern California. I truly love my position of Family Specialist, as I am able to utilize my counseling background in working with families and students with the goal of student success.

I believe in family and school connections, the importance of parent involvement, and in the power of education!
