I was born and raised in Coahuila Mexico.  In this state, I received my education up to high school level.  I immigrated to San Antonio, Texas in 1994. Arriving in the United States I was enrolled in Robert E. Lee High School, from which I graduated in 1996.  After high school, I enrolled at San Antonio College where I obtained a certificate in Micro Computer Data Entry.  I continued studying at the same school and obtained my Associate of Arts in Teaching in 2010, which I graduated with honors.  After that, I entered to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), from which I graduated with summa cum laude honors and got my Baccalaureate in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 Bilingual Generalist.

     During my enrollment at UTSA, I acquired extensive training and preparation in bilingual education.  I had the opportunity to observe and practice in schools rated Exemplary in Northside Independent School District and North East Independent School District.  There I learned effective strategies for teaching bilingual students.  During this time, I have been preparing to be a competent teacher to support students and help them excel.  My professional goals are to educate and prepare my students to be successful.  My personal goals are to become a successful teacher that will inspire and help my students.

    Roan Forest has been my home since I graduated. Roan Forest is a true family and has given me the happiest moments of my career.  I am a non-stopping learning person and each student, and their families have left me with new learnings, and I am sure that this will continue.  Now I have 9 years of experience in which I have had the opportunity to grow professionally and as a person. My students have filled me with joy and pride as well as their parents.

     Yo nací y crecí en Coahuila México.  En este estado recibí mi educación hasta nivel preparatoria.  Inmigré a San Antonio, Texas en 1994.   Al llegar a los Estados Unidos ingresé a la escuela preparatoria Robert E. Lee de la cual me gradué en 1996.  Después ingresé al Colegio de San Antonio del cual obtuve una certificación en micro computación.  Seguí estudiando en este mismo colegio y obtuve mi asociado en Artes de la Enseñanza en el 2010 del cual gradué con honores.  Después ingresé a la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio (UTSA) de la cual me gradué con altos honores en Educación Bilingüe hasta sexto grado.   

     Durante mi estancia en UTSA adquirí una amplia capacitación y preparación en educación bilingüe.  He tenido la oportunidad de observar y practicar en escuelas muy competentes en San Antonio, de las cuales he podido aprender estrategias efectivas para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes bilingües.  Durante este tiempo me he estado preparando para ser una educadora competente en la cual los estudiantes se pueden apoyar para ayudarlos a sobresalir.  Mis objetivos y metas profesionales son educarme y prepararme para llegar a ser una maestra con éxito el cual se reflejará por medio de sus estudiantes.

     Roan Forest ha sido mi hogar desde que me gradué. Roan Forest es una verdadera familia y me ha dado los mejores momentos de mi carrera. Soy una persona de continuo aprendizaje y cada estudiante y sus familias me han dejado con nuevas lecciones y estoy segura de que esto continuará. Ahora tengo 9 años de experiencia en los que he tenido la oportunidad de crecer profesionalmente y como persona. Mis estudiantes me han llenado de alegría y orgullo al igual que sus padres.
