Hi!

My name is Mrs. De Los Santos, I am very excited to join the kindergarten team one more year at Roan Forest Elementary. I am thrilled to be a kindergarten teacher and I'm looking forward, with my students, to a year of fun and learning adventures. I can't wait to learn all about my new students this 2022-2023 school year, but first let me tell you a little about me.

I was born in Del Rio, Texas and I graduated from Sul Ross State University with a bachelor in General Education, EC-6. I worked for San Felipe-Del Rio ISD for 7 years before I moved to San Antonio with my family, my husband Paul, twin boys, Hernan and Mauricio, going to college, and my daughter Emma who is a 10th grader at Ronald Reagan High School, and our always loyal standard poodle, Domino.

This will be my 6th year teaching at "The Forest" and I love my NEISD district. I couldn't be happier. I love my school, the school community, my kindergarten team, teaching, and the little ones! My students will know and feel in my classroom that they will be cared about and that I will value their ideas, thoughts, and actions.

I know that each one of my students' personalities is unique and each one will have their own talents and strengths and I can't wait to learn more about each one of them. 

I am very happy to be your son's/daughter's teacher and for him/her to be part of this great learning year!
