Hello and Welcome to the 4th grade!

I am formally known as Ms. Villarreal around Roan, but my last name was officially changed to Garcia last year! I am from Corpus Christi, Texas, where I graduated from Mary Carroll High School. I was a pediatric dental assistant for 5 years. Then, I moved to San Antonio, Texas to pursue my bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio. San Antonio is where I found my passion for teaching and love for education. I have been in the field of education for six years. This will be my fifth year at Roan Forest teaching 4th grade. I love being part of the Trailblazer family. 

When I am not at school, my husband and I love to spend quality time as a family. Our little girl is turning two this year and we are amazed at how fast she is learning and growing. She certainly is spirited and will have us on the go as she starts her toddler era.    

I absolutely love working with children! I am excited to work with your child this year and watch them grow! GO ROAN FOREST GO!
