Hello, My name is Ann Ramirez.  I love working with children and teaching!  This will be my 29th year teaching. I have experience teaching fifth grade, first grade, and third grade.  I graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified in grades first through eighth, ESL and Kinesiology. I opened Roan Forest in 2002 and have been here for 22 years.  I am so grateful to be teaching at Roan Forest.  The Roan Forest community is my second home and family. 

I have been married for 28 years.  I have a son, daughter, daughter-in-law and a two-year-old granddaughter. My son, daughter and daughter-in-law are all Texas A&M graduates. WHOOP!  My family loves to go to the river, beach and play with our dog! My hobbies include reading, crafting, home decorating and being with animals.
