Hello, Welcome to Ms. Martinez 3rd grade class!

I am so excited to start this new chapter in Roan Forest Elementary. This will be my fifth year of teaching, but my first in this amazing school.I started working with North East ISD at Larkspur Elementary back in 2020-2021. At Larkspur, I taught the grades of 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Dual Language.  

I was born in Laredo, Texas but raised in Nuevo Laredo Tamps. After attending elementary school in Mexico, we moved back to my birthplace, where I attended middle school, high school and college. I graduated from Texas A&M International University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education EC-6th with Bilingual Emphasis. 

Two years ago, I became a mom to a beautiful boy. During my time off I enjoy driving down to Laredo to visit my parents and spending time with my friends. I am also a huge sports fan, I love my Dallas Cowboys and my Chivas rayadas del Guadalajara. 

I believe this year will be amazing! I can't wait to see your kiddos succeed!
