Ms. Garza

Welcome Trailblazer families! I am so excited to be teaching PK at Roan Forest this year and can’t wait for a successful school year. This will be my 14th year as a certified teacher. I graduated from Sul Ross University with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies and obtained an MSED Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I am certified EC-4 Generalist in the state of Texas. I have had the privilege of teaching almost every grade level from PK-12th grade.

I am originally from Del Rio, TX where I worked for a couple of years before I moved to Portugal. I lived there with my husband for 10 years and both my boys were born there. My oldest is going to 1st grade and my youngest will be in PK. For the past 3 years we were living in Tucson, AZ and enjoying the sunshine, desert, and wildlife. We decided to move back to Texas to be closer to home and begin a new chapter here.  

During my free time I enjoy cooking, working out, and spending time outdoors. I look forward to getting to know all my students and working together with all the families to achieve our goals.
