Ms. Pedroza started teaching at Nimitz Middle School in 2019 and has been teaching since 2016. Ms. Pedroza's teaching responsibilities include beginning woodwind classes, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and woodwind sectionals for the Honors Band. Prior to teaching at Nimitz Middle School, Ms. Pedroza taught at Pearsall ISD.

Ms. Pedroza is from San Antonio area and attended Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Northside. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. During her time at UTSA, Ms. Pedroza was part of the inaugural UTSA "Spirit of San Antonio" Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and various chamber ensembles. She has a son who is two years old and two dogs.
