Mr. Gerardo Ed Mendez

Hello,  I have been a Seahawk going on 21 years.  I started as a Readimg Teacher in 1997 when Nimitz was a year round campus.  Today, I am the AVID Coordinator and the Jr PALS Teacher. I am a UTSA, Birds UP, graduate class of 1994. I earned a B.A. in Interdiscplinary Studies with a Concentration in Reading; 1st-9th with an edorsement in ESL. I have 24 years of teaching experience and am a native of San Antonio. I have two daughters, Sara (20) and Yasmin (18).  I have two dogs, Chica and Coco.  I am an avid futbol fan.
