Welcome to third grade!

My name is Gabriela Solis and I am so excited to be working with your child this school year! This will be my 5th year teaching. I have tought 2nd grade for 4 years, and am now excited to be a part of the third grade team. I am honored to be a part of such an amazing school such as Roan Forest.  I am a UTSA graduate with a batchelors in Bilingual Education EC-6. I love getting to work with students and helping them fall in love with learning like I have. I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading, hanging out with my dog and watching movies. I am looking forward to making memories with my kiddos and having a GREAT year!

Me llamo Gabriela Solis y estoy muy emocionada de tener el honor de trabajar con su hijo/a este año escolar. Este año será mi quinto año de maestra. He sido maestra de segundo por cuarto años y este año estoy emocionada de ser parte del equipo de maestras de tercer grado. Me gradué de la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio (UTSA) con mi certificación en educación bilingüe EC-6.Me encanta trabajar con los estudiantes y ayudarlos a enamorarse del aprendizaje como yo lo he hecho. Durante mi tiempo libre me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia, leer, pasar tiempo con mi perrita y ver películas. ¡Me siento honrada de tener la oportunidad de trabajar en una gran escuela como Roan Forest, sé que tendremos un excelente año escolar!
