What is BYOD?
NEISD allows teachers and students to bring their personal devices from home (laptop, tablet, Smartphone, Chromebook) and access the NEISD BYOD Network. Keep in mind this is different from accessing the Guest Network. The Guest network is much slower and has tighter restrictions on what can be accessed. Students connected to the Guest Network will be unable to authenticate to District resources such as Classlink Launchpad, Google Classroom, or Seesaw.
To connect your personal device to the NEISD BYOD wifi, use the connection instructions below. Please note, there are technical specifications for devices. All devices must connect to a 5 Ghz WiFi connection as well as support 802.1x.
