Weekly Homework
**Homework will start after our Orientation meeting!
We will be sending homework on Fridays this year and have a few suggestions to help make this a fun learning experience for your child. It will be very helpful for you to take the time to sit with your child while they complete the tasks that they choose to ensure quality work.
We encourage you to have a designated workspace with supplies ready at hand. Some of the supplies that you will need this year are: pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and writing paper; this can be a handwriting tablet (to encourage correct letter formation) purchased at Wal-Mart or HEB, or notebook paper. Please do not have your child do work on post-it notes, cardboard, etc.
In addition to the daily activities, they will be expected to read at their level to someone at home for a minimum of 10-15 minutes per day. Be sure to fill out the reading activity questions on our homework sheet that will be returned with your child’s work each Friday. Our desire is for this reading time to help foster a love of reading and books!
Thank you for making this flexible homework format an enjoyable learning experience by working with your child to return the products and form each Friday.
