My name is Shauna Gallaher, and I am a proud Mustang! I was born and raised right here in San Antonio, and I am an NEISD Alumni. I attended El Dorado Elementary as a young child, and I am lucky enough to be returning to this amazing campus as a teacher. I also graduated from James Madison High School, GO MAVS! I went to college at The University of Texas at San Antonio, and earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th Grade students in the classroom Core Subjects. This will be my 3rd year working in NEISD, the first as a KIN afterschool assistant, the second as a Special Education Paraprofessional, and this year as a classroom Teacher. 

I have a true passion for working with young children, this is why I am so excited to be starting my teaching career in Kindergarten! I look forward to watching your children learn and grow in all areas of their academic, social, and language development. I strive to create a warm and inviting classroom that is a safe place for your child to explore and discover who they are as a student. 

Personally, I love to spend my free time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, listening to music and going to concerts, spending time exploring the outdoors, eating ice cream, and binge watching tv shows.
