Here's a little bit about myself. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008 with my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and my certification in 4th-8th grade generalist. Since then, I have also acquired my certifications in 4th-8th grade math, Early Childhood-4th grade generalist, and E-6 ESL. After graduation, I was hired by NEISD and this will be my sixteenth year with the district. I taught 6th grade math at Garner Middle School for my first two years. In 2010, I made the change to elementary school and taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade at Northern Hills for 11 years. Then I joined the Eagle family in 2021! This is my third year teaching 2nd grade at Encino Park.

I have a twin sister who also is a teacher for NEISD. I've been married to my amazing husband for 9 years and we have an adorable son, Jack and a beautiful daughter, Paige! I enjoy reading, especially a good mystery, and working out. We love cheering on the Spurs and hanging out with family and friends. We love traveling and look forward to finding new places to visit.
