I grew up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Fort Collins, Colorado.  I attended Poudre R-1 school district and Colorado State University in my hometown. I graduated with my bachelors degree from Colorado State University. I pursued and completed my Masters in School Administration from Texas A&M University Kingsville in 2004. I have taught grades 2-5 for the past 23 years. 

I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, two beautiful daughters, two dogs and cats. Both of my daughters are graduates of NEISD schools. This year my youngest will be attending the University of Texas at Austin.I have one adorable schnauzer mix and 5 stray kitties that have adopted me. In the summertime you might find me playing bells in a choir, singing in church choir, reading, playing my piano, or hiking through the Rocky Mountains. My main activity during summer vacation is finding a creative and engaging way to teach you! I look forward to meeting you in August!
