Thanks, NEISD, for $128,416!

POSTED DECEMBER 2022

Bradley checkHarmony Hills checkLegacy checkNorth East ISD employees once again showed their generosity and caring spirit in this year’s United Way Charitable campaign. In total, the District raised $128,416 that will benefit more than 140 different local non-profit organizations.

The organization that earned the most pledges was our own North East Educational Foundation. They will receive $8,000 thanks to you.  But other organizations came out on top too, including the San Antonio Food Bank, Animal Defense League of Texas, Children’s Shelter, Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas and Alzheimer’s Association of San Antonio.

This year, the Foundation wanted to encourage staff to support these charitable causes, so they gifted a $500 grant to the top giving high school, middle school and elementary school.

Congratulations to Legacy of Educational Excellence, Bradley Middle School and Harmony Hills Elementary School!

As an added treat, the staff at each of these schools will also get lunch provided on a designated day as a special thanks!

Thank you to everyone who donated $1 or $1,000. It all makes a difference.
