LEE High School senior and JROTC cadet Gabe Palos accepted a $48,000 scholarship to attend Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas this fall. Palos is the current Air Rifle Commander at LEE, and will take his skills to the newly formed air rifle team at Schreiner.
“All my hard work in JROTC and my studies at LEE have paid off, and I also get to continue my passion competing in air rifle at the college level,” said Palos.
Palos is planning to study in the medical field in college while competing against some of the top collegiate air rifle teams in the state.
