It all adds up!

1 + 1 = 2. That’s easy.

But what happens when you add Gifted and Talented (GT) math students from Tejeda Middle School with a Math Festival hosted by Trinity University and North East ISD?

A lot of fun and learning.

During the 5th Annual Math Festival, our students got to tour Trinity University and get a glimpse of what college life might be like after they graduate. They also worked in groups to take on strategic games and math puzzles. The rigorous problem-solving challenges were fun and stretched their thinking and understanding of mathematical concepts.

At the end of the event, students were asked to describe their experience in just one word. Their responses captured the essence of the day:

📢 Challenging 💡 Rigorous ✏️ Interactive ✨ Refreshing 🎨 Creative 🧩 Intriguing
