Vision and Hearing Screening: Students  in Pre-K, K, 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th graders are screened annually, as well as all new students to Texas and referrals for Special Education.

Spinal Screening: Students are screened for scoliosis in the 7th grade for girls and 8th grade for boys.

Acanthosis Nigricans Screening: Each student in the 3rd, 5th and 7th grades is screened for a "skin marker" around the neck resulting from a higher concentration of insulin in the bloodstream, which creates a potential risk for the development of Type 2 Diabetes.
