My name is Mr. Baker and I am the G/T teacher at Roan Forest.  I'm originally from Michigan and graduated from Olivet College.  I have taught four years in Michigan (two years teaching elementary art and two years teaching first grade) and this will be my twenty-third year teaching in Texas.  I love teaching students new ways to think about their learning and providing them with a positive experience in school.  Some of the things I enjoy are:  fishing, hiking, camping, snowboarding and just about anything that gets me outdoors.  I am married to a wonderful wife who is also a teacher and we have two beautiful daughters.
