Watercolor for Beginners
You will explore the types of brushes, paper and paint colors available while learning several traditional techniques like wash, bleeding, dry brush and others. You will create your work from photos and still life. Basic color theory, composition, making of a color wheel, color charts and handling of watercolors will also be covered. Join instructor Maren Phillips, MFA for some watercolor fun!
Architecture Tour
You will enjoy this popular walking tour of architecture in downtown San Antonio. Appreciate the diversity of styles and detailing within the built environment both from the outside and inside. The richness of downtown's architectural variety and history may surprise you, but it will definitely cause you to walk more slowly and look more closely at the wide range of handsome buildings within our city's center. Bruce Martin, a certified professional tour guide, will lead this tour.
Introduction to Computers & Windows® 10
Did you upgrade to Windows® 10 but haven’t had a chance to familiarize yourself with all of the features? This beginner level course offers the basics of navigating Windows® 10, provides you with correct terminology and touches on the Microsoft® Office® 2016 applications and the Microsoft® Edge™ browser. This is a hands-on course that can provide a basic foundation for all other computer courses. Instructor, Pamela Stephens.
Sticky Fingers Cooking (Grades 1-5)
Join us for our “Virtual Kids in the Kitchen Series” right in your own home featuring unique cooking curriculums! “MUG-nificent After School Sweets and Snack Classes” highlight single-serve recipes with the use of the microwave to help foster more independence and safety in the kitchen for our students. “Meal THYME Sheet Pan Cooking Classes” feature recipes geared towards family meals in mind! Students will prepare a full meal for their families from start to finish in our class.

Young scientists will encounter the science of secret agents in a fun, hands-on environment. Join Mad Science for an amazing session with a new topic each week! The topics for Secret Agent Lab will include: Discover Detection, Agent Undercover, Sleuths on the Scene, Whodunit, Crime Lab, and Sneaky Science to give your junior agent a total of 6 weeks of fun!
