I have a BFA from University of Texas at San Antonio in Studio Art with a minor in Art History.  I am a teaching artist who loves doing embroidery and I'm learning more about mixed media.  I am the proud sponsor of Clay Club at Nimitz MIddle School.  I am the Arts Education Coordinator for Spare Parts Center for Creative Reuse,  where I advance reuse and sustainability through creativity and the arts.  I have been teaching at Nimitz Middle School for 16 years and it has been an amazing journey so far.
