The Basics!

Hi My name is Mrs. Duncan and I am one of the 6th grade ELAR/Reading Acceleration teachers at Ed White. I attended Texas A&M San Antonio University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree. GO JAGUARS! I have been with Ed White since 2009, when I started as a paraprofessional. This will be year six for teaching. In my class, you can expect to work on developing and increasing your literacy skills. I am married, and together we have a total of six wonderful children. All of them are "young adults" now! I enjoy spending time with my kids doing arts and crafts, shopping, and just a good ole-fashioned time just hanging out. I love to spend my free time doing DIY's for home decor. I am excited about what this year is going to bring us! Together let's SOAR and go for the GOLD!

Childhood/Education

I was born in Los Angeles, Ca, and I am a huge fan of the Lakers! On the other hand, I am a huge fan of the Cowboys! I moved to Texas during my 8th grade year in school. I attended Pease middle School and John Jay High School. My favorite subjects have always been Science & English and Reading!
