Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

I am so excited to be back home at Ed White! This is my 15th year at Ed White, but my 18th year teaching...all in NEISD. It is great to be working with the MSL-9 team and with Academic UIL, too! Eagles soar above the storm, and I'm ready to help us all reach new levels this year! 

I graduated from UTSA with my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a concentration in Special Education. My teaching certifications at this time are all 4-8th grade and include: Generalist, Reading and English, Special Education, and ESL. I've taught all core content areas, all three grade levels in middle school, General and Special education, and I was an ELAR Instructional Coach during "the COVID years". I'm excited to be back in the classroom with my kids and SO GLAD to have COVID behind us now!

I have a son in 7th grade at the DATA magnet program on campus. We also have a Black Lab and a cat...so I'm always on the go with one of them! I love to spend my free time with them and see what new things they are doing, too! (I think my animals stay home and teach each other tricks while we're at school...ask me about what they can do!)
