Ms. Dalissa Román

Dalissa Román is the new Theatre Arts Director and Debate Coach for Jackson Middle School. She is a first year teacher holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance and Production. Before becoming a teacher she worked as a fashion stylist and is thrilled to bring her costume and fashion knowledge to Jackson. Theatre is her greatest passion and she is excited to be able to share this wonderful art with the Jackson Family.

Ms. Román moved to San Antonio in the summer of 2010 and has fallen in love with the rich Latinx culture. She is the mother to two 7 year old twins and enjoys going to art museums and weekend hikes. Her strongest passion is playwriting and was a regional finalist at KCACTF Region VI 2018 Festival.
