Mrs. Dalissa Roman

Welcome to the Award Winning Jackson Theatre and Debate Team!

My name is Dalissa Roman and I am the theatre director and debate coach here at Jackson Middle School. This is my 5th year in education as well as my 5th year at Jackson. I am incredibly proud of the success our students have earned and expect nothing short of another successful year.

Our theatre program, the Drama Jags, have won our One Act Play contest 2 years in a row! 

Collectively, our theatre and debate program won the 2022-2023 NEISD Small Zone Speech Cup!

I am a graduate of Texas State University where I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance & Production. I began my theatre experience as an actor but grew a love for playwriting and directing.

Despite my educational background being in theatre, I do have a great love for debate and am so excited to help your student strengthen their critical thinking skills. My debaters have found great success at competitions and I know it'll only continue.
