Hello! My name is Catherine Ramirez. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in early childhood to sixth grade. My love of teaching began when I started working for NEISD’s (KIN) after-school care program in 2012. I worked there for 6 years (3 at Roan Forest Elementary and 3 at Las Lomas Elementary).I also completed my student teaching in Kindergarten at Las Lomas Elementary.This will be my 6th year of teaching. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dogs, Cooper and Penny! I enjoy going shopping and catching a movie at the theater. I am very passionate about teaching, and have a very big heart when it comes to the little ones! I believe in providing a loving and hands-on environment, where my students will learn to explore new and exciting things! I look forward to a fun and amazing year!!!
