My name is Ms. Karen Day. I am proud to be a PreK teacher and to be working with such an awesome team! I will be working closely with Mrs. Amanda Doster, our ECSE teacher, and Mrs. Nedra Weatherspoon, our paraprofessional. We will work as a team to ensure the students in our classroom have a great year in Pre-K. I LOVE being a teacher of littles!

I am a San Antonio native and live with my partner, Brandon, and our four fur babies. We have a dog named Bubs and three ornery cats. They are all very spoiled. I grew up on the northside of town and graduated from UTSA. This will be my 26th year of teaching in an early childhood/special education setting. I previously taught for NISD and made the move to NEISD two years ago. I am excited about being a Las Lomas Lion!
