I have over twenty-five years of experience in North East. I started my NEISD career as a special education paraprofessional at Clear Spring Elementary. I then taught 5th grade at El Dorado Elementary before moving out of the classroom to serve as Assistant Principal at Wilderness Oak Elementary. My next move was to Principal of Oak Grove Elementary, where I spent the last seven years before joining the Las Lomas family in 2019.

Welcome to Las Lomas, the Pride of Stone Oak. My name is Eleanor Rodriguez, and this is my third year serving as Assistant Principal at Las Lomas Elementary. Let me take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. My family and I have been a part of the North East Independent School District family for seventeen years. I have taught at Redland Oaks, Cibolo Green, and Walzem Elementary as a special education teacher before taking the position as an assistant principal at Las Lomas Elementary. My husband started as a math teacher at Johnson High school. He currently is a math specialist with NEISD. We have three sons, Alex (24), Justin (21), and Matthew (20) who graduated from Johnson High School. We are very grateful to be part of such an amazing school district. This is my 23rd year in education and I am incredibly proud and grateful to be a part of such an amazing school and district.
