Hello everyone! My name is Hayley Esqueda and I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year. I am energetic, positive, and love to make learning fun! I know that we will have a great year together in first. This will be my 5th year teaching first grade here at Las Lomas Elementary. Prior to being here, I was a kindergarten teacher for 2 years in Hays CISD. I love teaching the littles and helping them build a strong foundation that they will continue to use throughout their life.

I attended college at Texas State University where I graduated with my bachelor's degree in elementary education. My husband and I have been married for two years and we have one son, one dog, and one cat. I love to read, go hiking, workout, bake sweet treats, shop, and spend time with family and friends.  

This school year will be filled with lots of learning, fun, and many new adventures! I cannot wait to get to know you, your family, and have a GREAT year in first grade!
