Mrs. Alison Davies
I attended NEISD schools from kindergarten through 12th-grade, then went on to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I completed my student teaching at Oak Grove working with both kindergarten and first grade in the spring of 2000. I taught for 17 years for NEISD at Oak Grove. My teaching experience has been in first, third, fourth and fifth grades. I was the Math Instructional Coach at Oak Grove for two and a half years for grades Pre-K through 5th grade Hyper-Accelerated Math, which covers all of 6th and half of 7th grade math. I began teaching 4th grade math and 4th grade Hyper-Accelerated Math in December 2019 at Las Lomas Elementary. I am excited to begin 2020-2021 as a Las Lomas Lion teaching 4th grade.
My husband, Joe, restores classis cars. Our son, Nathan, is a junior and attends DATA, the Design And Technology Academy magnet program, at Roosevelt High School. We enjoy attending his football games and cheering on our Roughriders!
I can't wait to get to know you and your child! I look forward to our year of learning together! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
