Hi, I am Tami Greenwood.  I am full of energy and I love what I do! I grew up in San Antonio attending NEISD schools. I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Tx. This will be my 24th year teaching in NEISD and I love teaching 3rd grade.  In 2017, I was chosen as NEISD's October Feature Teacher nominated by Principal, Jennifer Lomas.  During the 2018-19 school year, I was chosen by the faculty and staff as the Trinity Prize Winner.  

In my free time, I love to challenge my creative side by crafting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I have a wonderful husband who is in education and two incredible daughters that have flown the coop, leaving us empty nesters. I am blessed beyond measure by their support of my passion to teach.

I first knew I wanted to teach at a young age when my very own third-grade teacher made a huge impression on me. My goal is to create lasting memories while instilling the love of learning with hands-on, interactive activities for my students.  I hope to teach your children in an environment that makes them feel safe and loved.  I can’t wait to get to know each of you and I look forward to a fun, amazing year!  Welcome to our class family!
