Hello! My name is Zenaida Gutierrez.  I have lived in San Antonio since 1991 and I received my secondary education in NEISD.  I am a product of Wood Middle School and James Madison High School.  After completing high school, I attended St. Mary's University for my first two years of college.  I then transferred to UTSA where I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics.  I absolutely LOVE mathematics and inspiring others to reach their potential.

My personal expectation is to engage all of my students in learning mathematics and to show my students how enjoyable and exciting learning math can be.  I am full of bountiful energy and I absolutely love going to work everyday.  I have been teaching mathematics in public school for the past 20 years and my students have traditionally, left my classroom having the same passion for math as I do.  I look forward to the 2023-2024 school year!
