Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year and to third grade!  I absolutely love teaching, and I have a very special place in my heart for 3rd graders! Our classroom is my happy place!

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a teaching certificate for grades 1st-8th.  I also have a minor in math.  I have taught 26 years in public school and 19 of those years in 3rd!  I have also taught Pre-K, 4th, 5th and Elementary PE!

I am married to a wonderful man named Harold who has recently retired from teaching and coaching for 33 years.  We celebrated 33 years of wedded bliss this summer!  We have 4 children who were all  Encino Park Eagles!  Our oldest daughter, Emily, is a 6th grade teacher in Houston.  She and her husband Brett just welcomed our first granddaughter, Grace, back in March 2022.  Our oldest son, Eric, is a graduate of TEEX Firefighter Academy and works for North Hays County Fire Department in Dripping Springs and Wimberley.   Our twins Emile and Elise are at Texas A&M majoring in sports management and athletic training.

I am so excited to be your teacher, and I can't wait to get to know you!  Our year will be filled with adventures in learning, laughing, exploring, becoming good friends, and reaching our goals!  Thank you for visiting my webpage and for choosing North East ISD!
