  • Comment Policy


    NEISD welcomes and encourages comments on our social media. However, the district reserves the right to remove comments that do not adhere to our social media policy guidelines. Specifically, we will remove comments that are:

    • Abusive or negative comments: Comments that are inappropriate, discriminatory, vulgar, or hurtful will be removed
    • Comments that violate the law: Comments that promote illegal activity, violate U.S. copyright or fair use laws, or break any laws will be removed
    • Comments that breach NEISD policies: Comments that do not consider others' rights to privacy or that are made by students or staff who do not follow NEISD appropriate standards of conduct will be removed
    • Marketing comments: Comments that are advertising a service, product, user, or account will be removed
    • Spam comments: Comments that impersonate, link to another website, are repeatedly posted, or found to be a scam will be removed
    • Controversial comments: Comments that are deemed controversial, including anything off-topic, debate-related, or political will be removed

    Comments that violate this policy's guidelines may be removed without notice. Users who repeatedly violate this policy may be banned from participating on NEISD social media. Comments are solely the opinions of the users who post them and should not be taken to represent the views of NEISD. NEISD takes no responsibility for misinformation included in user comments.

  • Media Clearance Information


    Students who are photographed, filmed or interviewed by the media must have parental permission. To assist when parental permission is required, NEISD has developed a student media release form which is also available in Spanish.  All forms are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
