Can my child attend Kids' Camp and a Youth & Teen Class at the same location?
Yes, you may enroll your child in both programs.

What are the hours and cost for each week of camp?
Camp will operate from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

How do I enroll my child for Kids' Camps?
Three-step process:
(1) Create a Community Education account following the steps listed below.
(2) Submit your payment online.
(3) Complete the registration form before the weekly deadline of 12:00 PM the Wednesday prior to the week attending or before capacity is reached. Email to kidscamps@neisd.net. All steps must be completed to secure enrollment.Complete the following steps listed below to create your account"
Step 1- Visit www.communityed.neisd.net
Step 2- Sign in with your username and password or create an account (Account must be created under the parent’s name).
Step 3- Add each student to the account by clicking “Add Student” (located on the left-hand side of the screen).
Step 4- Find the camp location in which you wish to enroll by clicking “Kids’ Camps” under “Browse our Catalog” located on the right-hand side of the screen. (Listings are in alphabetical order.)
Step 5- Click “More Details” to find current sessions and locations available. Click the “Add” button next to the student you wish to enroll.
Step 6- Click on “Review Your Cart”. Verify your student’s name, review Policies and Procedures and then click “I Agree”.
Step 7- Complete enrollment by clicking on “Proceed to Checkout”. Enter your credit card information and click on “Finish”.
Step 8- Submit the completed registration form using the Google link found on the camp webpage. Your payment and completed registration form secure your spot. -
How are campers grouped?
Campers are grouped by grade level ranges. (For example: K-2 or K & 1st grade; it depends on overall camp enrollment)

Do you accept late registrations after the deadline?
If there is space to register in the camp week after the deadline, registrant will assess a $10 late registration fee.

Who can attend Kids' Camp?
Camp is open to students who completed Kindergarten thru 6th grade during the 2021-2022 school year.

Will the campers attend any off-site field trips?
Campers will not take any off-site field trips unless noted on the camp description.

Can I call to check on my child or visit?
The campus will be closed to visitors, but you may call the camp phone line to check on your child.

Will Kids’ Camp provide lunch for campers?
No, each camper must bring their own sack lunch with a water bottle or drink daily.

What does my child need to bring to camp?
Campers need to bring a sack lunch, snack, water bottle, and basic school supplies. We encourage campers to wear clothes that they can be active in and comfortable. Campers must wear a mask.

Can I register my child if they have behavioral or special needs?
Yes, we ask that you speak with the Camp Coordinator prior to them starting so we work together to see if our camp environment is a good fit and can meet your child’s needs. We do not provide personal care services or one on one supervision.

Is there a discount for NEISD employees?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for current district employees for our full 5-day camp weeks. Camps offered for 4 days or less are not eligible for discounts. You must email kidscamps@neisd.net to have the discount applied before submitting payment online. Discounts cannot be retroactively posted and must be requested prior to the payment date. Please note that the employee discount may not be bundled with the multi-student discount.

What is your camp refund policy?
Refund requests must be initiated via email to kidscamps@neisd.net by the deadline. The deadline to request a refund is 12:00 PM on Wednesday before the camp week your child is registered to attend. The Kids' Camp office will forward all refund requests received by the deadline for review. Refunds will not be issued for any days where services are unavailable due to closures resulting from inclement weather or health & safety protocols/mandates.
Please allow 10-business days for the review of your request and up to 14-business days for the processing of qualified refunds.
NEISD/Kids' Camp Refund Policy applies to ALL CANCELLATIONS/WITHDRAWALS either submitted via email per the parent/guardian request or due to an administrative withdrawal. There is a processing fee for cancellations/withdrawals regardless of the reason. Camp staff located on-site cannot authorize or approve requests for refunds. Kids' Camp will NOT issue partial refunds or prorated fees for absences, withdrawals done after the deadline, immediate pick-up due to behavior/illness, camp closures, suspensions, or administrative dismissal from camp. All withdrawals done after the deadline will not be eligible for a refund. -
What school supplies will my child need to bring?
Crayons, washable markers, scissors, (2) pencils, (2) glue sticks, Elmer’s glue bottle. Items will not be shared.

When is the last day I can register and pay for an upcoming camp week?
You can register your child until 12:00 PM on the Wednesday prior to the week wishing to attend. Please keep in mind that the camp may hit capacity before this deadline. If you are registering on or after the deadline you cannot request a refund as the deadline stands.

When is the last day to withdraw my child to receive a refund?
All withdrawals must be submitted by 12:00pm on the Wednesday prior to the week attending using the withdrawal link found on the camp webpage located at neisd.net/Page/874.

Do you offer a daily rate for parents who only need selected dates for camp?
No, we do not offer a daily rate, drop-in rate nor do we prorate days attended or missed.

Is there a discount for siblings?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for our full 5-day camp weeks. Camps offered for 4 days or less are not eligible for discounts. For the week-long camps, you will pay full cost for the first sibling and receive 10% off each additional sibling registration. You must email kidscamps@neisd.net to have the discount applied before submitting payment online. Discounts cannot be retroactively posted and must be requested prior to the payment date.
