What are the hours and cost for each week of camp?
Camp will operate from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Week #1- Tuesday, 6/01- Friday, 6/04(Cost: $150)
- Week #2- Monday, 6/07- Friday, 6/11 (Cost: $185)
- Week #3- Monday, 6/14- Friday, 6/18 (Cost: $185)
- Week #4- Monday, 6/21- Friday, 6/25 (Cost: $185)

Where are the camps located?

How do I enroll my child for Kids' Camps?
Three-step process: (1) Create a Community Education account (2) Submit your payment online and wait for the confirmation email. (3) Submit your registration form before the first day of camp via email to kidscamps@neisd.net.
Complete the following steps listed below to create your account.
Step 1- Visit communityed.neisd.net
Step 2- Sign in with your username and password or create an account (Account must be created under the parent’s name).
Step 3- Add each student to the account by clicking “Add Student” (located on the left-hand side of the screen).
Step 4- Find the camp location in which you wish to enroll by clicking “Kids’ Camps” under “Browse
our Catalog” (located on the right-hand side of the screen. Listings are in alphabetical order.)Step 5- Click “More Details” to find current sessions and locations available. Click the “Add” button next to the student you wish to enroll.
Step 6- Click on “Review Your Cart”. Verify your student’s name, review Policies and Procedures and then click “I Agree”.
Step 7- Complete enrollment by clicking on “Proceed to Checkout”. Enter your credit card information and click on “Finish”.
Step 8- Submit the completed registration form using the Google link found on the camp webpage. Your payment and completed registration form secure your spot.

How are campers grouped?
Campers are grouped in grade level ranges. (For example: K, K-1, or K -2 depending on overall camp enrollment)

Who can attend Kids' Camp?
Camp is open to students who are currently enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten thru 8th grade in any school district.

Will the campers attend any off-site field trips?
Campers will not take any off-site field trips this school year.

Can I call to check on my child or visit?
Due to current restrictions, the facility will be closed to visitors but you may call the camp phone line to check on your child.

Will Kids’ Camp provide lunch for campers?
No, each camper must bring their own sack lunch with a water bottle or drink daily. NOTE: The Department of Nutrition Services will be offering a meal program at Northwood ES and Longscreek ES. Their program is separate from camp and the menu is set in advance. Campers at Longs Creek ES and Northwood ES may receive breakfast and lunch at no charge beginning Wednesday, June 2.

What does my child need to bring to camp?
Campers need to bring a sack lunch, snack, water bottle and basic school supplies. We encourage campers to wear clothes that they can be active in and comfortable. Campers must wear a mask.

What school supplies will my child need to bring?
Crayons, washable markers, scissors, (2) pencils, (2) glue sticks, Elmer’s glue bottle. Items will not be shared.

Can I register my child if they have challenging behavior or special needs?
Yes, we ask that you speak with the Camp Supervisor prior to them starting so we work together to see if our camp environment is a good fit and can meet your child’s needs. We do not provide personal care services or one on one supervision.

Can I drop-off or pick-up my child at any time during the day?
Yes, please call the camp phone line to notify the Camp Supervisor.

Is there a discount for NEISD employees?
Yes, we offer a 15% discount to current NEISD employees. You must email kidscamps@neisd.net to have the discount applied.
This discount may not be combined with the sibling discount.

How do I upload my digital signature to the Google Form?

I have a legal doc I need to share with Kids' Camp, how do I do that?

When is the last day I can register and pay for an upcoming camp week?
You can register your child up to 12:00 PM the Wednesday before the camp week you wish to attend. Please keep in mind that each camp location may reach capacity before this deadline. A late registration fee of $10 will be assessed for any registration received after the 12:00 PM deadline.

When is the last day to withdraw my child to receive a refund?
All withdrawals must be submitted in writing via email to kidscamps@neisd.net by 12:00pm on the Wednesday prior to the week attending. No exceptions.

Do you offer a daily rate for parents who only need selected dates for camp?
No, we do not offer a daily rate, drop-in rate nor do we prorate days attended.

Can I register my child if they have challenging behavior or special needs?
Yes, we ask that you speak with the Camp Supervisor prior to them starting so we work together to see if our camp environment is a good fit and can meet your child’s needs. We do not provide personal care services or one on one supervision.

Is there a discount for siblings?
Yes, we offer a 15% discount for siblings. Pay full price for the first sibling and receive 15% off each additional sibling registration. You must email kidscamps@neisd.net to have the discount applied.
