The North East School of the Arts (NESA) is a gifted and talented high school program in the arts structured as a magnet program. NESA has seven majors: cinema, creative writing, dance, instrumental music, musical theater, technical theater, and visual arts. NESA provides a rigorous academic environment, with a sequential, customized curriculum designed to encourage artistic excellence, integration with multiple arts disciplines, and authentic assessment.
NESA was listed among the Top 10 Arts high schools in the country by Hollywood Reporter Magazine.
NESA has a 100 percent graduation rate.
Ten percent of NESA students are National Merit Recognized (The national average is one percent.)
