    photo Rudy Jimenez's Biography

Sharing my love for science brought me to the teaching profession after my education at the University of Texas at Austin. After 7 years of teaching Biology and AP Biology for the Austin ISD, I decided that I wanted to make a larger impact in the school system, so I entered into an administrator’s role.  I relocated to North East ISD in 2004 as an assistant principal at Jackson Middle School and Lee High School. I received the honor of beginning my first principalship at Eisenhower MS for 4.5 years, followed by leading Tex Hill MS through its first 2 years. I held a central office leadership position with the Adult & Community Education department for three years before my appointment as Assistant Superintendent. I am supported at home by my wife, Heather, and spend any free time watching soccer matches that my two children, Addyson and Coulter, participate in.
