This is my 5th year here at Vineyard Ranch and in San Antonio, I started out here in 2nd grade and then had the pleasure of being moved to 3rd grade, which is coming home for me. This is my 16th year of teaching and I really love it. Teaching children is my passion and not only does your child become my student but they also become part of my family. Before coming to Vineyard Ranch I taught in the suburbs of Dallas in a place called Lewisville. I spent 11 wonderful years teaching at a school that I absolutely loved. I taught from 4th grade all the way down to Pre-k. Yes, you heard that right, Pre-K. Having the experience of all the great ages I taught, 3rd grade has been the one I enjoyed the most. I also did some Instructional coaching for several years which was helping teachers become excellent teachers for their schools. I found my way back into the classroom when I moved here to San Antonio and this is really where my heart is, with kids. 

I am originally from El Paso, TX, but I grew up in Lubbock Tx, then I spent most of my days in the Dallas area. I decided to make the move to San Antonio to take care of my very loved mother. I have several nieces and nephews here but mostly take care of the little ones, a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old. So when you hear me talk about kids, it will be them.
