Hello, my name is Doug Schwenn, and I’ll be teaching at Vineyard Ranch this year. I graduated from U.T.S.A with a major in Kinesiology;  I’m certified to teach Physical Education and Earth-Life Science.  I have 16 years of teaching experience at all levels of Physical Education.  I also have 5 years experience as an instructional assistant right here at Vineyard Ranch.

I’m married to my wonderful wife of 30 years, Heidi. We're proud parents of Haley (age 20, a student at SMU) and Cory (age 13, an NEISD student).  My wife’s Air Force career gave us the opportunity to travel across the U.S. - I was fortunate to be able to teach and coach in Missouri, Virginia, and Colorado.  I’ve enjoyed my last 10 years at Vineyard Ranch and am looking forward to teaching again here in the P.E. department.
