My name is Norma Rider and I am a Special Education teacher. This will be my third year in Special Education and I absolutely love my job! I have been blessed to be able to work with an amazing staff, students and parents.

I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX.  I joined the United States Air Force and served for 20 years before retiring. I totally enjoyed my military career and I travelled extensively. The best part of all that is that I met my husband while we were both stationed in Florida. We have three children that I stayed home with after I retired. Great years!

I finished my bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Personnel Management from UTSA.  I earned a master’s degree from St Mary’s University in Reading and obtained teacher certification. I am certified in EC-4, ESL and Special Education.

While this will be a challenging and exciting year, I know we will all get through this together. I am looking forward to meeting and working with your children!
