Hello and welcome to Fourth Grade!
A little about myself…
My name is Melissa Garcia. I have the great opportunity to be working near my home and family here in Stone Oak.  I have taught Kindergarten, Second grade, Third grade and Fourth grade in the dual program. I am a graduate of the University of Texas in San Antonio and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in bilingual education EC-4.
I was born and raised here in San Antonio, with Mexican roots in Piedras Negras and Monterrey. I am blessed to have an incredible husband, Emir, and three beautiful children.  I know this will be a year full of learning, fun and unforgettable memories for your children as well as for me!

Un poco de mi…
Mi nombre es Melissa García. Tengo la fortuna de trabajar cercas de mi casa y familia aquí en Stone Oak.  He enseñado kínder, segundo grado, tercer grado y cuarto grado dentro del programa bilingüe. Soy egresada de la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio y me recibí con una Licenciatura en Educación Bilingüe a nivel primaria.
Nací y crecí aquí en San Antonio con raíces mexicanos en Piedras Negras y Monterrey. Tengo la fortuna de tener un excelente esposo Emir, y tres hijos hermosos.  ¡Sé que este será un año lleno de aprendizaje, diversión y experiencias inolvidables para sus hijos igual que para mí!
