      Hello Bronco Families and Community,

It is my pleasure and honor to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Vineyard Ranch Elementary.  I am thrilled to serve such a remarkable group of students, staff and families at The Ranch.

This year marks my 23rd year in education.  I spent two decades living my childhood dream of being a classroom teacher.  I began my career serving the students of Charles C. Ball Elementary for 14 years.  I also served the Mildred Baskin Elementary School community for 6 years.  I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.  I cherish every minute of those 20 years.

I graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education.  While teaching, I also earned a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Texas A&M, Kingsville.  Most recently, in 2020, I gained my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Trinity University.

Upon completion of my course work at Trinity, I joined the North East Independent School District.  I served the students and teachers of Colonial Hills Elementary as an Instructional Coach.  It was an honor to serve the Cougar community for two years.

On a personal note, like you, I am a parent.  My husband Patrick and I have a daughter, Erin.  We also have a Chiweenie named Mandy.  When I’m not at The Ranch you can find me with my family either at home in Boerne or taking a weekend road trip to find the best that South Texas has to offer.

It is evident that the success of Vineyard Ranch is due to the dedication of its students, families, and every single person who walks through its doors.  My goal is to not only continue that tradition by walking in step with our faculty and staff but to also increase the level of student achievement and performance.  I believe that students are at the center of all school-related decisions.  I am grateful for the chance to bring my experience and student centered approach to Vineyard Ranch Elementary.  I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with Bronco families to foster your student’s goals and aspirations.  This school year will be one for the record books!

Education is my life’s work and childhood dream come true.  I am proud to now call Vineyard Ranch my home away from home. I look forward to meeting you all.  Please contact me with any questions or to discuss how much your child enjoys being a Bronco Leader!  My contact information is amollo@neisd.net or 210-357-7200 ext. 67222

      Sincerely,

      Amy Molloy
