Vineyard Ranch is proud to be a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. We were named the prestigous Lighthouse Status in January 2016 becoming the 167th in the world with this honor. 

The Leader In Me is a framework for creating a positive school culture which focuses on leadership and personal responsibility. It is based on teaching children the timeless principles of success from Steven Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. We know there are common features that unite truly successful people and that set them apart from people who are not successful. By teaching children from an early age to be leaders of their own lives and that they are responsible for determining their effectiveness as students and people, we will be providing our children with the mindset and skill set needed to be successful in our ever-changing society. Through the use of The Leader In Me, students will develop a common vocabulary and set of expectations that will set them on the path to success.

Vineyard Ranch School Leadership Goals:

1. Vineyard Ranch weekly attendance will be 97.2% or higher.
2. 100% of Vineyard Ranch students will have academic enrichment and extension opportunities.
3. 75% of Vineyard Ranch students will hold a school-wide leadership role during the school year.
