Medication on Campus
A reminder, per district policy, students are NOT ALLOWED to carry medications on campus. This includes medicated lip balms, cough drops and throat lozenges. In addition, students are NOT ALLOWED to transport medication to the clinic. Parents need to bring in ALL medications to the clinic.
Hearing and Vision
Hearing and Vision Screenings are required by the state and are taking place now for all students in PK, K, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. Acanthosis Nigricans Screenings are also being conducted on 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. The screenings will be completed before the end of the first semester. You will not receive any information if your child passes the screenings. If the nurse identifies any concerns, she will contact the parent and refer for further evaluation if necessary.
