Annual Reports are useful in a variety of ways and the compiled information is meant to be shared with students, staff, and community. They can be used to highlight what is happening in the library, pinpoint programmatic strengths and areas for improvement, illustrate trends in circulation from year to year, and assist in goal setting.
Librarians are required to complete the Annual Report on a yearly basis, usually in May. The more information compiled, the more complete the picture is of the library program. Accurate record keeping throughout the year is essential when completing the Annual Report.
The yearly Annual Report is on the Library Welcome Page (library website).
