Hello Encino Park Eagles!

I'm Mr. Valdes, one of Encino Park's awesome music teachers. This is my 8th year teaching music at this school. I graduated from Trinity University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music and again in 2016 with a Master of Arts in Teaching. I then taught at Tuscany Heights as a long-term music sub before starting at Encino Park in the Fall of 2016.

I love teaching music and, of course, love playing and listening to it as well. I am a singer who can also play guitar, ukulele, piano, bass, cello, percussion, and (my personal favorite) the recorder. I'm also a huge Pokemon fan. I play with and collect trading cards. And I love to work out and get strong!

I am so excited about teaching music again this year. We have lots of fun songs, instruments, games and activities to learn, and it is going to be a blast!
