    The certified mail receipt must be placed underneath the return address. Please do not place the receipt in the upper right corner. The upper right corner is reserved for the postage meter. Please be sure to fill in all required information on the certified mail green card. Envelope flaps must be sealed or in the down position, only. Do not insert unsealed flaps into the envelope. Please use this visual as a guide when placing the certified mail receipt on your envelope.

    First Class Mail

    First class mail must be delivered to Mailing Services no later than 3:00 p.m. Mail that is delivered after 3:00 p.m. may not be processed until the following day. It may take one-two (1-2) business days for the U.S. Post Office to deliver first class mail within a 782 zip code, all other zip codes outside the city limit may take a little longer. The Post Office does not consider Saturday, Sunday or holidays as working days. Please keep this in mind if your material is time sensitive.
