Hi!

My name is Mrs. De Los Santos, I am very excited to join the kindergarten team for another year at Roan Forest Elementary. I am thrilled to be a kindergarten teacher and I'm looking forward, along with my students, to a year of fun and learning adventures. I can't wait to learn all about my new students this 2023-2024 school year, but first, let me tell you a little about me.

I was born in Del Rio, Texas and I graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor's in Multidisciplinary Studies EC-6. I worked for San Felipe-Del Rio ISD for 7 years before I moved to San Antonio with my family: my husband Paul, my twin boys, Hernan and Mauricio, who are going to college, and my daughter Emma, who is a junior at Ronald Reagan High School.

This will be my 6th year teaching at "The Forest"  and I love my NEISD district. I was Teacher of the Year 22-23 at Roan Forest Elementary and was selected as District Teacher of the Year Finalist 22-23. I couldn't have been happier. I love my school, the school community, my kindergarten team, teaching, and the little ones! My students will know and feel in my classroom that they will be cared for and that I will value their ideas, thoughts, and actions.

I know that each one of my students' personalities is unique and each one will have their own talents and strengths. I can't wait to learn more about each one of them!
