Mrs. Torres' 4th Grade Class

Hello! I am so excited to be a part of the Roan Forest Family with the fourth-grade team! 

I grew up in the small town of Castroville, TX - just a few miles west of San Antonio. After high school, I attended the University of North Texas and studied interdisciplinary studies. After graduating with my Bachelor's in 2016, I moved to Princeton, TX to teach at Smith Elementary School for the next two years. Even though I had such a wonderful experience at Smith, it was time for me to move back home to San Antonio. After a few months of subbing in NEISD, I was picked up as a fifth-grade teacher at Ridgeview Elementary School. Though my time at Ridgeview was great, Roan Forest called for an opportunity I couldn't refuse! During this time, I worked on earning my master's in Educational Leadership during the height of 2020. 

This 2023-2024 school year will by my fifth year teaching at Roan Forest and eighth year overall as a teacher. I am so excited to stay as part of the fourth grade team! Being a Trailblazer has been such a wonderful experience!

This year is going to be amazing! Teaching fourth-grade holds a special place in my heart and I am excited to be part of such an amazing team!
